This free quilting video from McCall’s Quilting shows you how to quilt using two different machine piecing techniques. The first quilting technique in the video is chain piecing. Chain piecing a quilt shows you how to continue in a chain without stopping to cut the threads in your quilt. In addition to being fast, chain piecing helps you to move the fabric through the machine quicker. The second quilting technique shown in the video is opposing seams. This quilt technique shows you how to press your seam allowances in opposite directions to improve your quilting and minimize the need for pinning.
